gum disease or accidental injury. Don’t suppress your smile in

Dental implant is an option for most people who have lost a tooth.

care you can trust. A graduate of Adelaide University with more than
30 years experience Dr. Leon Anaf is a member of the ADA, a general

Dr. Anaf will first provide a thorough check up, checking the condition
of your teeth and gums and your medical history. A dental hygienist
is also available on-site to advise on your oral care if needed. To
ensure that you are a suitable candidate for a dental implant you will
need assessment by X-ray to ensure that you have adequate bone for a
dental implant.
The dental implant is inserted in the jaw bone and takes eight to ten
weeks to integrate into the bone. Made of pure titanium, the dental
implant usually integrates into bone without complications. Once secure
the dental implant is covered by a specially fitted dental crown, which
has been matched specifically to your other teeth. This provides the
look and feel of a natural tooth and has no adverse effects on the adjacent
teeth. In fact because you can exert normal pressure on your bite through
the new dental implant, the jaw bone is better preserved.
So you have lost your teeth. All of them? If you are concerned about
loose dentures, dental implants can still meet your needs. Given adequate
jaw bones multiple individual dental implants may be your solution.
If however you are not a suitable candidate, over dentures can be constructed
over dental implants. Because these over dentures click into place over
the dental implants they have greater stability, providing you with
a secure and better bite and better preservation of the remaining jaw
bones. The result is a good facial contour and a brighter smile.
For the ongoing care of your dental implants, Dr, Anaf will advise
you on your oral hygiene and regular dental care.
